Definitely. If my friends get weirded out when I talk to them, I can't hang out with them. Therefor, I cannot be friends with them. If a person doesn't like you for who you are, only parts of who you are, they dont really like YOU.

I had a "friend" (whom did some awful things to me and libeled me to so many people, it's pathetic, (wait, is "libel" written? She talked....trash. Nasty trash about myself, my kids my man.) Anyway, she once told me, well more than once, that My Man and I were "wrong" because we had sex "too often." I was about 30 at the time, she was a year or two younger than me, and she told me that "people our age only have sex a couple of times a year." WTF?

When I told her this wasn't actually the National Average (I think that's about 2 or 3 times a week for couples in their 30s and 40s) she said, "everybody she knows" only had sex a few times a year. So there. My Man and I are wrong.

This is the one where she and her husband have a separate "family" room for watching TV,(or whatever they do instead of having sex) and if I am not mistaken (I haven't been in her Godawful house in years) they also sleep in separate bedrooms.

Yea, My Man and I are the "wrong ones." LOL!

Wow! Sounds like a great friend! My guess is she was just jealous of you guys.. if she considered a few times a year to be normal, I'd hate to imagine a dry spell!!

A few times a YEAR??!!!!???!!!! Maybe that's why her husband wants to sleep in separate rooms. He's probably got a Fleshlight and a butt plug in there! WAY more fun and more convenient than "a few times a year!"

It's healthy and normal for couples to have sex many times a week and many times a day in said week..... or am I going to Hell now too?

How they're still together is a mystery to me. My Man and I have a terrible joke (just between the two of us) that she keeps his balls in a little jar on her dresser. I'm so mean. But, damn....he's one man I hope is getting some on the side. Better yet, I wish he'd leave her lying ass. I don't see that happening.

She is not a "friend" anymore. Too much drama, too much trash talk.

I really wanted to think that most of my friends are open minded about sex and intimacy. I had a rude awakening when the topic of anal sex came up; when I said how great it is and that anal is part of our my/our sex repertoire they fell silent and showed displeasure. My mistake for saying too much (could have been the wine) but never discussed it again. On the other hand, I have three friends, including one guy where everything is on the table....so discretion is so important. One of my g/f's I am intimate with and we exchange toys and tips, so I guess it balances out.
I know that some of my other friends probably think I am perverted.
I used to just wonder what others do, obviously not much as so many seemed to be unhappy but now I just don't give a good F...

Yeah, it's definitely not worth trying to stay friends with someone like that. And I normally don't wish bad things on people either, but I really can't say I blame you for hoping that her man is getting some elsewhere. If he's not, I don't know if either of them are actually human, lol!

Nothing wrong with being a pervert At least you have a few good friends that you can talk about anything with! I'm seriously considering moving because none of my friends seem to be on the same wavelength. Definitely gotta meet some like-minded people!

Libel is wrtitten, brodcast or otherwise published defamation. Slander is either spoken defamation or gestural. Both must be harmful to reputation and untrue.

That's what I thought. The woman slandered me. Told people my last baby (who was about 4 weeks preterm) was small because I supposedly "did drugs." Which, I don't do. She says really horrible things about people. Just a pathetic person. I probably shouldn't have said I hoped her husband was getting it somewhere else. He's a grown man and if he grew a pair, he'd get the hell away from her.

OK. I'm done. I usually give people, like 1000 chances and 1000 forgivenesses. She used hers up.

Different strokes for different folks, I suppose. I'm free to be sexually open, my friends are free to be prudes. So long as they respect me, I respect them. I have other things to talk about besides sex - I haven't found that having "prude" friends has ever hurt my relationships with them.

Never really felt that comfortable with labeling someone a "prude" just for their sexual preference, anyway. I don't want to be insulted for my sexual preference, so I wouldn't call even my most sexually conservative friends "prudes."
