You should really have titled this "Who DOESN'T Like Anime?" I love it, but I'm also picky about it, mainly I like the ones based around shojo manga.
Who Likes Anime?

I also have strange anime crushes Fullmetal is what got me into it, it was on Adult Swim one night and I got into it. Haven't watched much of brotherhood because it was weird, but I loved the original (I think it's the original?) one.

I was never a fan until I saw Samurai Champloo. I watched the entire season with my husband, who is an avid anime fan. Then I started watching Naruto with him and stopped when they decided to put in a bunch of fillers and ignore wtf was happening with Sasuke.
Last year my husband and I watched Cowboy Bebop (omg, sofuckingawesome) and I only watched it because he said it was by the same people who did Samurai Champloo. I wish they would do another one, oh how I wish. I had weird crushes on Mugen and Spike.
I want to catch up on Naruto because my husband told me they've done tons with the story, including catching back up with everything, but that's a ton of episodes. I have this issue with hating dubs. At least Naruto dubs suck. I have to watch subtitled ones, but reading all that text makes me sleepy after an episode or two. I should just commit to it already.
Full Metal Alchemist is pretty good, what I've seen of it. Also there's this weird one with sword spirits or something that my husband was watching that looks interesting. I've been a terrible fan this year. less

I loved Samurai Champloo, and Trigun (I crushed on Vash and the Preacher )
Still working through sCRYed, but I have yet to find an anime I haven't liked.
I've seen a lot of Inuyasha before, and watched some Cowboy Bebop, but now I am in
fanime mode and thinking about starting to collect them...
Now I have a whole great list! I am going to work on Death Note next, and then probably Ruroni Kenshin since I don't want to start Bleach if I won't be able to see it all (it is still circulating on tv)
I would also love for more from samurai champloo's makers. I was sad when that one was over.

How did I not see this thread 3 weeks ago???
I LOVE anime! I just haven't been able to keep up with it since early college. But I definitely have my favorites still!

Surprised I didn't see this thread, but I've been busy.
Anime and I have a long history. I watched a bit as a child in the 80s, a lot of us did! I didn't know the term anime then, though! I was reacquainted with anime in middle school, high school through nerd family and friends. Nerds! The types of guys who sat in the back of the class and didn't talk. I loved them. Through them I got a fondness for seinen anime (aimed at men--the stuff that gave anime a bad name in the west. But it's not all sex and violence.).
My favorites are the original Vampire Hunter D, Spice and Wolf, Mobile Suit Gundam, Zeta Gundam, Turn A Gundam, The Slayers, Azumanga Daioh, Natsume Yujincho, Mononoke Hime, Berserk, Last Exile, Record of Lodoss War, Genshiken, I could go on a while...sorry.
But I have become more of a manga nerd, and I almost always prefer the manga over the anime. Manga is my main source of entertainment now!
Oh!! If you like anime art, check out the art contest here at link hehe! The new link to #7 link

ANIME!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
*dances the Otaku dance*
although a lot of people dislike it, I'm one of those evil dub anime fans, but the dubs I watch almost ALWAYS are the good ones, not the crude voice actors.
most recently there was a small anime meet up with a few peeps to watch a very awesome miniseries called Geobreeders, and before that I watched Chobits, I so identify with Chi despite being male ^^. If you can Geobreeders, its quite hilarious, has amusing nudity and cat girls!
I don't watch it too much due to lack of time but I am a major Otaku in my opinion.
Yay for fellow anime fans!

I really like anime.
I got into anime through sailor moon as a kid. I have watched all the series, even the sailor stars, which only aired in Japan. (that's how much of a nerd I am).
I really like Darker than Black and Kaze no Stigma. I have yet to watch Cowboy Bebop (it's my husbands favorite anime). Im going through two animes right now, Birdy the Mighty and Spice and Wolf.

I love anime, but I have been out of the loop for a while. Most of the anime that I own, or have seen, is mid to late 90's. I used to have hundreds of those poor quality vhs fan-sub movies.
My favorite series were Rurouni Kenshin, Escaflowne (Yoko Kanno's music was awesome!) and Fushigi Yuugi.
I really loved the Ghost in the Shell movie and also like the tv series. (The opening music for the tv series is another of Yoko Kanno's musical triumphs Inner Universe )

i loves me some anime. im watching girls bravo right now.

I'm a fan of animation from all around the world, so of course anime is in there as well! Anime introduced me to the idea that just because a show wasn't live-action didn't mean it couldn't be deep, clever, and intriguing.
Just finished watching Puella Magi Madoka Magica the other day. Don't let the name fool you, it's easily one of the darkest shows I've seen. Loved every minute of it. Other favorites are Azumanga Daioh, Chi's Sweet Home (dear god, it's adorable!), and Outlaw Star (though I haven't watched that one in years). Princess Tutu is another case of a show being awesome despite the WTF-Name.
