I tried to tackle Game of Thrones but OMG it's a dense book! Pretty rough for someone with ADD! I have to take my meds to get through that one! So many different storylines to keep track of all at once! I love the show, but I'll have to work to get through the books!
What book are you currently reading?

I saw this thread and found all the posts quite interesting!
I am collaborating with two other research writers to publish an article on a South Carolina Loyalist who fought during the Revolutionary War called Col. William “Bloody Bill” Cunningham. One valuable resource is a 390 pages Guide called Parker’s Guide to the Revolutionary War in South Carolina, listing over 400 sites of Battles, Skirmishes and Murders taking place in SC.
But in addition to the above research, I am currently reading concurrently two books, one titled, “Washington A Life” by Ron Chernow (a 904 page paper back book) and “Founding Spirits – George Washington & the Beginning of the American Whiskey Industry” by Dr. Dennis J. Pogue, who is an archaeologist and a museum administrator.

fun and interesting, but after i finish it (i have about 100 pages left) I don't think i'm going to continue to read the rest of the series.
there are plenty of other books that i want to read. i'm glad i didn't buy this book. paperbackswap

It may sound a little pretentious, but 'War and Peace'. I only have 300 pages to go, but I really am enjoying it. It's just a little difficult, because there are approximately 9000 named characters, and almost all of them have at least three names.
