I agree, it depends on how bad I want it and if I think it could go out of stock soon. Sometimes I've waited too long and have regretted it.

I wait if its not entirely necessary to have.. for example.. Not spending 25 bucks on a disney blu-ray when every other blu-ray coming out is dropped to like 16-19 within a week.

If I buy something not on sale it usually will go on sale within a month and then I kick myself for spending the extra 15% or so.

It depends on what it is and how bad I want it. I usually wiat for books to come to me with my book swap instead of buying them.

This is a rather vague question because I think it all depends on what you are buying, how much it is, and how bad you want to have it. Based on those factors is how I determine whether I want it now or wait.

For movies and books, I don't even buy them anymore. I usually just borrow or somehow find them online.

For games...I don't play games...so I don't buy them....
