Reading For Work/School vs. Reading For Fun

Fiction for fun.

I'm a student too, and I get how there is that distance between reading something for fun and reading something for school. After doing so much reading for school, sometimes it will ruin reading for fun for me too because I'm just too tired of reading all the time

I like to read only what I choose. I spend a lot time in bookstore to select a book. But in major I like to read detailed historical events. Also, Encyclopedias is my other favorite type.

Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows, so...fun.

Figured I'd re-read it since it's been a while.

Does anyone else have this distinction? What was the last thing you read (or are currently reading) for work/school and fun? less

I read a lot for school and fun. Most of my school reading is in textbooks and my recreational reading includes all kinds of books.

I'm an art student, but I'm still surprised at the amount of reading I have to do! o.o

I don't have to read for work, and I'm not in school right now, so all of my reading is for fun. Right now I am reading This Book is Full of Spiders by David Wong, the sequel to John Dies at the End. Great books, absolutely hilarious. I'm also reading His Dark Materials again, but I put that down for a while when This Book is Full of Spiders came in.

I read a lot for fun, whether it's fiction, non-fiction, how to books, different religious texts (I'm curious and like to check 'em all out), news papers, magazine articles and stories... anything and everything except for legal type things.
