Love reading stories on the internet but give me a real 3-dimensional book anyday. Will this poll in 20 years do you prefer real sex or virtualsex ala Demolition Man
How do you best like your literature served up? Lots of people say "it depends," but if you had to choose just one, which would it be?

I have a degree in English Lit. Physical book, hands down.

I still love books!

Physical book. ALthough the nooks and kindles look neat.

I'd like a kindle or a nook, I don't think I could ever give up the physical books though.

I still prefer a physical book, it feels good to possess a book I like, and keep it in my bookcase.

I love actual books.

I prefer physical books. They're easier to snuggle up and get cozy with for me

I love listening on my way to work

I prefer the physical book. For some reason, I really can't pay attention to what I'm reading when it's on my laptop. I do want a Kindle, but I'm not entirely sure I would enjoy reading on it.

Maybe those e-reader things waste tons less trees but they can't replace all the fond memories and the unique smell/feel of a book.

I really, really prefer physical books. No need to worry about keeping a device charged or being limited to sitting in front of a machine or anything like that. Just need enough light and a comfy spot, that's all.
Though I do enjoy reading stuff online, too. I just wouldn't take it as my first choice.

Books...unless the book is too big to carry around comfortably. I don't have an e-reader, but I take a lot of trains, and the portability would be convenient.

Aside from the tactile preference (love how books smell, and holding a book makes me feel just a little calmer) - a book will never run out of batteries or have it's pages recalled. Physical book all the way.
