I have a lot of guilty TV pleasures. Most are reality shows too, of a sort. Like Billy the Exterminator and Dog the Bounty Hunter.
Do you have guilty TV pleasures?

When they first announced the Housewives franchise I swore to myself that I would not watch but I am now a big fan of all of the shows. I am watching OC wives as I type this, am I a sorry ass person or what?

I really watch too much tv. Right now I'm watching:
Survivor, Americas next top model, White collar, and others...
I do like to watch random shows on the science, National geographic, and history channel once in awhile.

Entertaining shows are such a dangerous thing!
03/15/2011
I do not think I can or will ever get over Melrose Place (the original) or The Anna Nicole Smith Show
03/15/2011
Yes, I totally watch TERRIBLE shows when I'm bored! But I also almost never watch tv while doing nothing, it's always on in the background when I'm painting or something.

I don't have one any more, but it used to be "My Super Sweet Sixteen." My girlfriends and I loved mocking those teenagers and their awful parents.

Dont watch much cause it's mostly crap

i like to watch LA Ink but that's the only reality tv show i watch.

I don't watch much TV, and when I do it's usually something on the Discovery, History, or Science channels. Documentaries are my favorite, but it seems that now even these "educational channels" are investing in reality TV: Man vs Wild, Survivor Man, The Colony, etc. And while I try my best to avoid this stuff (which I consider to be, by and large, bullshit), it's becoming increasingly difficult to do so. What's worse, I've found myself watching such shows and actually kinda enjoying them.
So, I confess, there are some crappy shows that I keep up with. My guilty TV pleasures include LA Ink, Say Yes to the Dress, Hell's Kitchen, Kitchen Nightmares, and Project Runway. I might watch those, but I absolutely draw the line at Toddlers & Tiaras, all of the "Real" Housewives, and any reality-TV-date-for-ma rriage show.

I sometimes watch shows that I love to hate.

Nip/Tuck was one of my favorite shows ever. Thankfully it's on Netflix instant now... Also TrueBlood, which I haven't been able to catch up with, sadly. My old roomate came home with season one and got us both hooked. We talked about it and giggled like little girls. Note, straight male roomate. I hate reality shows, but I end up watching, and sort of enjoying, Pawn Stars a lot. I always have the history channel on, and it comes on all the time. Oh, and I love the food network but I only ever watch it when no one else is around, or my friend Josh is visiting. He's my food network addicted buddy.

Discovery had a Haunting series that had really bad recreated stories of people who had lived in a haunted house or been possessed, etc. It was awful and engrossing all at the same time. Hoarders fascinates me.

Definitely have guilty TV pleasure. Am I going to say what they are? Um... no.
09/15/2011
Jersey shore is my guilty pleasure!

I hate crappy TV shows, but my GF has some guilty pleasures - especially if the show is just downright horrendous. It's so bad that it's actually quite funny and entertaining, so she drags me to watch it with her. I think the last show we saw of this nature is Daisy of Love. It's just...so...bad.

W/we download shows W/we are interested in, and they are waaay way far from anything "qualityless"...
Though since W/we got new net cheaper with tv my Master watches it sometimes even daily for a few hours, I can hardly make myself stay there long so mostly I am just doing other stuff here while am somewhat listening when something is on what I find interesting...
So far nothing disturbs me as long as it is something I find more than stupid shit, for example W/we both enjoy watching the prison shows because the topic of prison life and the psychology behind it fascinates both of U/us...
History, documentaries, science, nature, even reality shows about jobs W/we don't know many details about but it's totally cool to see secrets of it... Ya know, some work process or secrets of an occupation you would have always enjoyed to check out, but never had the chance...
Also shows related to animals cause W/we LOVE animals, and W/we always enjoy topics like serial killers and other crimes, it is just so interesting how human nature can be... And occasionally some design and cooking shows, and whatever catches O/our A/attention... Master finds politics and politicians a total bullcrap just like I do, but W/we are still interested how the sheep go along with the brainwashing mainstream media...
So I can't saw W/we aren't interested in any shows at all, W/we just download them, and some series sometimes, if they are interesting, like historical shows whenever there is a good one, or an interesting sci-fi story (like Rome, Game Of Thrones, Californication, Dollhouse, Criminal Minds, CSIs, Battlestar Galactica), so it has to be something what contains some depth, something about human nature or behaviors, something what shows things you wouldn't really see otherwise...
But nope, I wouldn't consider myself as a tv watcher, I hate tv and especially the ads, Master does too but looks like He has more patience to follow three shows while changing channels at the ads, I hate missing anything when I am watching something cause then I wanna see all of it, so I couldn't watch any movies on tv, true fucking pain it would be, W/we watch mostly movies, and W/we download them only, no other way to enjoy them good enough! ^^

And Survivorman is WAY better than Man vs. Wild.. Bear Grylls is a sissy compared to Les Stroud! less
