Who here believes that it's bad luck to take down your xmas tree b4 new years day?

This was the first year that we had a real tree and that sucker was over 7 feet tall and *huge*! Too bad that there were more needles on the floor than on the tree by the time Christmas was over. I usually leave it up until the New Year, but given the fact that it was about naked, we got rid of it the day after Christmas.

In fact, the pit bull was already trying to drag it by a few of the bottom limbs.

I don't believe in superstitions or all that other stuff. They have no power unless you believe in them.

nyc is still littered with xmas trees the sanitation department hasn't been picking them up due to the snow storms we've had here

Ive never heard of the superstition either but my family leave the tree up mostly out of laziness until well into the new year...
