Nope not for Christmas or New Years!
How many of you get Chinese food on Christmas Eve?

I don't. But my mother was telling us the other day. That when me and my sister were little. She was sick and since my father is not a cook at all. He took us to the local bowling ally for Christmas dinner. We don't remember if we bowled or not. But that would have been pretty cool.

That sounds like a fun tradition. We always have a cocktail party. And you have to dress up. My kids hate that part. I say you have to wear a tie, but you get presents!

NOPE.....Depends where. There are some big Korean, Chinese and Vietnamese communities down here. Find them and you get AMAZING Asian food!

Chinese food in the south sucks for the most part.

Christmas Story reference? I would love too, but I always have other food plans ...

We love Chinese food but usually end up at a holiday party of some sort for dinner on Christmas Eve. If we were home I would be all over this tradition.

Nothing that is a tradition

I think my mom and I did once, but I'm not sure. It would have been when I was in middle school or something, I think..

We have frequently done pizza on Christmas Eve but I made up a big pot of chili today since it was in the 40's outside (SW Texas - I've seen it be 70 degrees at Christmas before w/ my roses blooming).

lol. We actually got Chinese tonight, as no one in the house felt like cooking.
