Love the Olympics and I think NBC's coverage of it is horrible and I want ABC to host the 2016 coverage of the Olympics in Rio.
Does anyone else find watching the Olympics boring?

Ohhh...I totally agree about NBC coverage...I have forced into watching the past two days, hence my post, and it's terrible. I also would prefer someone other than Ryan Seacrest doing some of the commentary. The bits that I saw Jenna Bush do were kinda okay, though. Would like to see more of her reporting. She looks nice on camera and is very composed!

I don't usually follow them but I'm enjoying most of it this year. Being a Brit probably helps though

I agree. I haven't liked the way NBC is doing the Olympics. They are selfish with their footage, forcing other networks to use what looks like The Sims in hilarious reenactments of the events.

I haven't seen ANY womens gymnastics except the Vault. I have seen more swimming and mens gymnastics to hold me for a long time. I don't like the way they are doing the games.

I can't stand to watch any kind of sport event. I don't understand it at all. And I hate the fact that these take priority over other TV shows I watch. I've tried to watch it a few times, but fell asleep doing it. I can't get into it and I never will.

I haven't watched the Olympics this year, but that is because I got rid of cable. If I could, I would probably be watching because I have participated in IOC governed events before and so to watch things like the medal ceremonies bring back a lot of good memories.

I like certain events but some I could sleep through. I really like the gymnastics, diving, swimming and some tennis but that's really about it. I personally prefer winter Olympics because hockey is my first love.

It depends on what sport they're showing...(which is probably why the Trampoline competitions aren't televised), but some of them really put me to sleep!

I find them pretty boring, unless it's an event where men are wearing speedos or lycra.

I do enjoy certian events. Winter has more going for it

I don't like sports, but I do enjoy watching the Olympics.

If llamas were involved, things would be much more interesting.

I find it boring, since only a couple sports...swimming, 100 yard dash, gymnastics...are covered. We are huge fans of Karate, Archery, Fencing and Biathalon (with shooting). Ever SEE these events covered on TV??? Maybe five mintues at 2 AM!!!!

It would be nice to just have a BIT more coverage of the "less popular" events. Those althetes work JUST as hard and are JUST AS MUCH Olympians.

That is part of the key to relation happiness. If ONE of you like to watch something, why would you EVER want to "change the channel"?

I'm exactly the same. I don't understand the appeal of any sports.
