I'm curious how others identify/label themselves?
What do you prefer to label yourself as?

Personally, Genderqueer which falls under the Trans* spectrum.

I usually refer to myself as genderqueer, but trans*, transgender, and non-binary are all descriptive terms that I'm also okay with.

i voted for "transsexual" because that's what i am and the word i'd use if i'm being specific, but i usually shorten it to "trans". i don't "prefer to label myself" as anything other than male/a man, though - being transsexual is just part of who i am, it's not my identity.

I just identify as male. However, within support groups and stuff I'll identify as FTM or trans just for the sake of understanding.

I checked several of the options because I find different ones useful in different situations - most of the time I only publicly identify as transgender or trans* but privately I find the genderqueer and nonbinary labels useful as well.

Hmm.... slightly queer trans* guy. I think that about sums it up.
07/21/2012
I ID as non-binary trans*.
07/23/2012
Most of these options fall within the trans* category.

I generally stick to Trans or Transgendered. Transgender works too but I feel more grammatically correct adding the -ed.
Sometimes I will also add MtF or say transgendered female.

I identify as male, transsexual here.

GQ, and a rather recent realisation at that

Female, but more and more queer as time goes by.

Androgynous or neutrois.

I have started using the term transexual. I don't like it but I have noticed that when I tell people I am transgender, they seem to think that I am non-binary. I find that transexual gives people a better idea, but then they start thinking I am a transwoman.
I am not sure what the best solution is. I'm still working on that.

If I have to pick a trans* term then I usually just use transgendered or transgendered guy. I prefer male though

I picked transsexual, but I don't call myself anything other than a man.

Normally, I id as genderweird, but answered genderqueer for the purpose of the poll. I am surely both and neither, non-binary, or just myself.

I selected transsexual but i dont label myself as that. I'm just a guy. A guy who happend to be born with an unfortunate medical condition.

On a day to day basis I would label myself a regular man and I don't tolerate being labelled or treated otherwise. All my friends refer to me as male and treat me like any other dude.
In sexual situations, however, I think of myself as a c**tboy and honestly I do prefer that, I like the dynamic of being just a little twink boy but with something special, and as I bottom and enjoy PIV sex it's appropriate.

Genderqueer/non binary.

Trans*. The asterisk is important. As a friend of mine said I'm "Trans-sterisk"
01/29/2013
I have never seen the point in using the asterisk but yeah, trans ftw.

but it is also a different thing because genderqueer is not transitioning from one gender to another, they are somewhere in between

Not to be rude, but you don't really belong in the trans section if you are not trans.
