I'm a transguy (FTM). Currently, I've been standing a lot more, but that desire comes in waves. It's definitely easier to sit to avoid leaks, even with a lot of experience using an STP.
FTM or MTF: Sit or stand to use the restroom?

Whether you are FTM or MTF, do you sit or stand to pee?
In other words, do you pee the way your parents taught you, or the way your true gender usually does it?
I am FTM, pre-T and pre-op. I was raised to sit to pee like a good little ... more

I am FTM, pre-T and pre-op. I was raised to sit to pee like a good little girl, but that never felt right for me. I taught myself how to pee standing up when I was a kid, but almost always (to the present day) sit to pee, just to avoid any "messes".
I have used some homemade STP devices but nothing has been satisfactory. Right now I'm saving up to buy an STP packer, which I'm hoping will help relieve a lot of my dysphoria.
So, how do you go?
And does peeing a certain way make you feel dysphoric?
PS - The "other" category is there in case you do a little of both or would like to explain further less

I think it'd be interesting to get an STP but it's not at the top of my list right now.

I sit, solely because it's a hassle to use my STP device and I rarely have anyone to worry about passing around in the bathroom since I don't use urinals.

There are STP (stand to pee) devices that redirect the flow, so to speak, haha.

FTM, I sit, even though it sometimes makes me dysphoric.
