I will do the "sex" thing, and he never complains if I wake him up, but when he gets to bed after 1 AM and has to be up and mentally focused at 4:20 AM, that wouldn't be fair or smart to do very often. I work pretty intense, but don't have to be at my office till about 8 AM, a very different schedule.

I assume you mean if the other is "not" awake? I have never woken up with something "dried" on me. If he wakes up and has a usable erection and is in the mood, he will just ease it in me. He knows it wakes me with a smile and I never have trouble getting back to sleep with a contented fullness and sigh.
