Five minutes isn't going to usually work. You have to work up to this. One finger at a time, gently at first, and lube helps.

If he's ruining the moment tell him! It can be an amazing experience, but not if it's rushed and not if you're not totally into it and enjoying it.

Talk to him when you are not having sex and let him know you'd like to do it, but you need time, (tissue needs to stretch without tearing and that takes some time) and it would be more comfortable with lube.

Good luck with it. Communication is important. I know the first time we did it I didn't know what he was doing. That's how "unpainful" it is if done correctly. But, if it hurts, you have to go slowly. Well, you have to go slowly, even if it doesn't hurt.

Also, it doesn't have to be a closed fist. That's kind of the "Ultimate Goal" with some people, but enjoying each finger going in one at a time, even if the hand is only crooked or straight instead of a full "fist" and getting off on it is the reason for doing it.

You have to take it slowly, and enjoy every minute. You don't just have him or her shove the entire fist in cold. That would be painful and not very fun. The idea is to enjoy it, and like a lot of things people are afraid of at first, it can be a nearly religious experience if done properly.

Years ago, when I was married, my spouse enjoyed getting fisted. She tried to do me, but I couldn't properly modulate the strength of my contracting butt hole and it would hurt her hand. So we never really completed her fisting me.
