I really enjoy giving it, so if a partner was not big on oral (haven't experienced that yet) think it would feel like I was limited on my displays of affection. One of my exes initially said he did not really enjoy oral sex, until the first time he decided he wanted to let me try and then was asking for it all the time - so definitely think at least sometimes its just about finding the right partner.

As far as receiving oral, I haven't had anyone super spectacular at giving it - but it is still enjoyable.

Feels uneven if I give but don't receive - unless he does something else especially well that balances out how much we meet the other's needs.

So not a deal breaker -- as long as the dynamic is still balanced
