I really liked the video and think it promotes EF very well. There were great pictures and it looked like it mentioned everything. But...
I did think it was a little too long I realize you don't want people to miss anything, but I think it could have been done in a slightly shorter video.
(and the quality was a little off..a little blurry through the whole thing, but maybe that was just my computer ).
Weather the video is short or long, has real photographs or hand drawn pictures, I think if someone is interested they will at least click to watch it. The opening is good. I loved the pictures that were included and I think it would drawn someone in. The ending didn't stand out as much for me though and I was bored by the time I reached it and not as wowed as I'd been when I started watching the video.
My favourite parts were the collages of images like the toys and the contributor pictures. I didn't enjoy the big pictures of the symbols like the alert bell though. I think they should be included, but perhaps in a different way. I liked that there was an explanation after each photo, but I think that the photo and the explanations could have been in one shot together.
A few things went through my head as I watched it:
Number 1:
It remind me of the commercials that play in the movie theaters while you're waiting for your movie to start. In its longer format I think it would fit very well in an environment like that. I don't think the video was offensive at all and even if some people thought it was there are plenty of 18 plus movies it could be played at.
Number 2:
The music reminded me of elevator music or music that might play on a dating site. Not that either of those things are bad. (okay elevator music is bad...it gets stuck in my bad all day..and yet..on the other hand, having it stuck in someones head all day isn't a bad thing because then they're thinking about it all day right?)
Overall, I enjoyed the video I think it is both visually appealing and highlights the great things about EF, but I am not sure I would sit through the whole thing if I happened upon it somewhere.
Thanks for letting us check it out
