I've never noticed it being particularly slow. I usually use Safari, but haven't had any problems on Chrome or Firefox either.

Sometimes it acts a bit weird if a Javascript fails to load correctly (EF is very heavily dependent on Javascript, which I find annoying) but I haven't had any problems with it being slow.
