I really think that any $100+ toy has a seriously jacked up price. There is no way the materials and work could be worth that much. That said, I do own two $100 toys - I just bought them with the assistance of gift cards.
How much is too much for a toy?

Spending more than you can afford is too much. To me it's as easy as that.
There are great toys in all price levels so there is no reason to break the bank on something if you need rent money more. But if you don't.... good orgasms are a worthy splurge.

The most I paid for a toy is 175 and it's worth every penny!!!

I'm cheap like a lot of reviewers, when I would go to the Lions Den my limit was 50 and NO more. Here I spend my points, buy on sale and love the hell outta the reviewing process. I'm with you kitten, financial wise I can spend actual money after my student check gets to me and after bills are paid.

Depends a lot on the toy. If we're assuming the toy in question is of good quality and the majority of reviews are favorable, then I'd set my OOP limit at around $100, maybe a bit over. If I'm trying to be frugal, closer to $50 or $60. With points, anything is possible if you're patient enough.

If i had more money to spend i probably wouldn't have a limit!!!

If I really fell in love with something, I'd probably pay upwards of $200 for it if I had to. I'm a bargain hunter, though, so I'd probably wait for a sale of some kind
03/06/2012
I'm up to $150 max, and I have to love love love LOVE it! Anything over that I may wait to go on sale lol.
03/06/2012
Around $75 for myself. That's about the price of the better fleshlights.

Depends!

over 100 and it is too much for me..

Before Eden, my limit was 30$ for one toy. Because I'm a broke student. Now, 25-50$ seems good, because the point program helps. But I'm still broke.
06/14/2012
my limit was anything above 50
06/15/2012
It has to be pretty incredible to be worth my upper limit of about $150. I got Mimi and was disappointed so very hesitant to spend now.
06/15/2012
It's really pushing it for me when it goes past $100....
06/15/2012
I've paid close to $200 for a toy, but probably wouldn't go above $300. We do have our eye on one $250 toy, but that does seem expensive to me.
06/15/2012
I don't have a limit per say. Each purchase is different. It depends on how much money I have at the time and how bad I want it. I don't know that I would ever spend over 150 for a toy but that's not saying it will never happen.
06/16/2012
depends on the toy lol

I only spend a bunch for glass, but even then it always comes under 200. I'd pay up to 200 for something very unique like the eroscillator. Other than that, on average it had better be under 100.
06/16/2012
I'm cheap too.. But I think out of pocket my limit will be $50.. but with points/gc I'm thinking $150 would be mine.. I want the liberator combo SO bad right now
06/17/2012
If it is on EF, and I have the points, and I really, really want it, then there is no price too high. If I am paying out cash, it would be hard for me to go more than $150...unless I really, really, really, really wanted it!
06/17/2012
I stay pretty cheap but I don't have a limit..if I like something I'll save up for it.
06/19/2012
Probably around $200 but that's only considering it as a discounted item and with a little extra gifting. I would still buy it but I would probably still have to think hard about it if I was paying the straight $200.
06/19/2012
If I had money, I don't have a limit, haha. Right now its limited to what I can afford but I won't buy something with a lot of bad reviews!
06/19/2012
it really depends on the features

I would pay more than $75.00 if I had the money to do so. As it stands I'm on a fixed income so I work with I've got. Every couple of months I buy something I've saved up to get.
