They don't really bother me. They can get old if I run into a lot of them on reviews or product pages. If they are on someone's wall though, I could really care less.

I really don't see the point in the comments anyway. Rarely do people actually use them to say anything about the product. I like when people will say if they liked it or not, when they have no intention of writing a full review. I don't see the purpose otherwise.

To me yeah it's kind of annoying and mostly just looks like point farming. But I think it's great that people have the option to share their opinions and feelings without many limits, even if it is just a pointless smiley.
