Welcome to Exquisite Corpse - Story Start! The concept is pretty simple, we're going to build a horror story! Mind you, there are a few rules.

- I will assign a "part" to each of you, please do not post until it is your turn. This is very important to keep the story flowing nicely.

- Please do not create story lines that deal with topics that make people uncomfortable (sexual assault, bestiality, things involving underage persons).

- Other than that, have fun and be creative!

While we wait for everyone to trickle in, are you a fan of horror movies and novels in general or is it something you have to be in the mood for?

The only scary movie I really enjoyed was Cabin in the Woods. Mostly because I'm a huge Whedon fan and it was an atypical movie. More like making fun of new age "horror" films. But usually I don't enjoy them.

Nope, I'm too squeamish nowadays for any type of gore. I liked horrow before I had kids, I don't know what happened!! I guess I like them sometimes, but def have to be in the mood.

Stormy, if we each have a part do we need to all hang around then to keep it flowing? Just wondering cause I'd like to participate but I'm not sure I can stay for the whole thing. Wouldn't want to ruin the story for you guys...

Love this! However, I have to go get a shower and get ready for tonight. I'm glad I made it to all I did today though! It was a bunch of fun and I really enjoyed it! Thank you everyone for you hard work and making it fun!

Once we get it started, you can take off if you can't hang around.

The comm is pretty good about these things and this will keep going for days.

a massive black stallion with red eyes standing in the middle of the barn. I'd never seen that stallion before so I knew it wasn't ours, and that's when I noticed that the temperature in the barn was extremely cold, it had to be below 34 degrees because I was freezing and I could see my breath. I decided id go in and tie it up before it got out, thinking that my father might have got a new stallion and I wasn't aware of it yet, but as I began walking towards it, the stallion seemed to be getting further and further away, as if the barn was never ending, I started to freak out and I...
