As a club manager I would love to be able to control the sub-sub categories so I could organize and showcase the work my members do. it is beyond frustrating to keep up with everything on one forum and things get lost with feelings possibly getting hurt. Even if we had say:

Hello Everyone,
As usual we have a few projects brewing in the mad science lab, and I wanted to see what your thoughts are on a few things.
During your average use, how important do you think the current Categories & Sub-Categories are? I am not really talking about formal company Categories ( like: Clubs, EdenLink, Customer Service), but more about what you use on a daily basis while interacting with the community.
Thank you in advance for your feedback! less

*EdenLit- formal category title
*EdenLit Meetings- sub category
*EdenLit Assignments- sub, sub category
*EdenLit Stories- sub category
*EdenLit Conversations- sub category for asking questions about the club or discussing topics not related to the monthly topics and stuff (This would truly be a luxury category!) that interest the club members, or, conversely, affect them, like announcements/health updates, that sort of thing.
Also, if we, as club managers could sticky certain topics within our categories it would be a massive help. Keeping instructions about the absurdly difficult methods we use to determine club membership (/sarcasm off) up top of the forum would save time and look very professional. If we had that in each of the forum categories we could limit the number of stickies/announcements we have on the load in page to things that affect the whole community...like meeting reminders and such.
I would love to see some of the sections combined maybe so they are more comprehensive....and possible the polyamory sections renamed "Non-Monogamy" so that it's more inclusive with out needing to add all the varieties of the lovestyle. Likewise I'd love to see a "Monogamy" category to handle all the different 'keeping the fire burning' type categories....and to make it a place where we non-monogamy types can ask our questions. We're curious too!
Could we add a spiritual category? Would that be too potentially explosive? I'd love to show new people the extremely diverse spiritualism of our community. Too many people believe "only those types (insert prejudice here) go to sex stores," I'd love to prove 'em wrong!
I love our social/game area but I think several of the categories could be combined into that area making it more diverse and maybe even slightly wild and colorful without a lot of strict placement of sub categories. Sort of like our own EdenFantasys Social Club. Let the talk and ideas run rampant and be FREE!!

LOVE this idea! Collapsible and alphabetical would be AMAZING!

I really don't see a way to have fewer subcategories, but perhaps we don't need them all listed on the main page. Maybe just the category could be listed, and if you scroll over it, a drop down menu could list the subcategories.

Can we have some kind of search in the forums, something simple but makes it easy to find things.

I'll have to get with you about this one on one in more detail, because I think I see what you're saying and I'm not entirely sure how that would work from a programmer's perspective but there are some things we are working on now...so, let me get with Gary and then I'll get with you if I need more details.

Not to long ago you could use the search bar on the top of the screen for both, sadly this feature is no more. To search for a product you have to do it from your profile page, the Eden main page...pretty much anywhere other than the forums.

I wish they add it back lol it be so much easier. I did notice as well when you search from some different spots it will not bring up what you are searching for and I have to go to my profile in order to do it. Have not noticed that in the forums yet.
