Our collection is really too large for those boxes. We use a full size dresser drawer and a drawer in the night stand. Even then we also have an overflow box in the closet where older or less used toys go. Sometimes they emerge from the closet and find regular use again - but mostly that's where they go before finding their way to the trash.
Do you think specialized sex toy boxes are actually worth it?

I think they can be worth it if they aren't priced too high. I've found that lots of things can be converted into toy boxes. It's all about what you need. If you have a modest collection that can be confined to a smaller box, that's awesome. If you need a larger box or boxes, buying specialty boxes isn't really financially sound.

You can literally buy a fireproof safe of similar size to the big Devine Toychest for over half of the price. They're mostly for looks. And really overpriced. I like the ones that lock but I don't want to pay the price really. I'm looking into other storage options.

Yes especially for the higher end ones. I like my toys delivered undamaged and the individual pieces protected from one another It also helps when anything has to be delivered to send it back the way it was delivered. There are many items I purchase outside of toys that I save the boxes for, often times I give something I own to someone, whether it be hardware tools, computer accessories or jewelry and like to include all the documentation and hand it over just as I received it.

I prefer my dresser drawers & brown cardboard closet box. Most "toy" boxes that I've seen on the market are too small and overpriced. They're just not for me.

I use stationary boxes. You can get them in all sizes and sometimes cool colors at office supply places.

I've never invested in one as storage boxes work out better considering the size of my collection. If I had a much smaller collection I'd probably invest in something more presentable to keep my toys in but with the number I currently own, its not feasible for me.

No, I don't want a sexy looking box as we try to store ours away from prying eyes. We have a large locking foot locker that holds most of the collection.

Yes, yes, yes. Specialized toy boxes save my life. I go to a lot of play parties/ events and I would be lost without my lockable toy chest and a few other specialized boxes, I absolutely hate having to stop a scene to dig through a huge disorganized box. nothing looks or feels so unprofessional to me and it genuinely fucks up a great scene. At home, I'm much more lenient.

I think they are way over priced. You could make something for less. I made a box for my wife's little sex toys and what not, and a lingerie cabinet for her lingerie and bigger sex toys.

It depends on the function and price. If it is a large storge box with many compartments and easy to lock and hide, i would pay a pretty high price for it.

It depends on your living situation. If you live in a situation where you do not want the people you live with or who have access to where you keep your toys to know you have toys, then it is definitely worth it. My husband and I are the only ones who live at our house so it is not critical that toys be under lock and key. I did get a small lockable box for traveling with toys.
If I had kids, was living in a dorm, lived with parents or some similar situation then I would buy a lockable box or storage cabinet big enough to hold all my toys. I don't think it has to be a sex toy box. Just something that you can lock up.

No, I don't. I have a nice large trunk that is holding my toys nicely, and it locks as well. I got it at a yard sale for a really low price a long time ago. Before I started my collection of toys I used to keep movies in it.
