as opposed to any old box. That's the one thing that seems dubious to me.
Do you think specialized sex toy boxes are actually worth it?

Depends. I use a box from the dollar store that works just fine.

So far I haven't seen any that are really designed for storage of a large collection but smaller ones that tend to be cute in appearance but won't hold much. I might consider one if it was more practical.
10/24/2012
they don't hold very much
10/24/2012
I like to use clear plastic drawers, I'm not into those fancy toy boxes even if it was a gift.
10/24/2012
If you have a small collection, then yes. For larger collections bins are better.

My sex toys are in a plastic container that I purchased a local store and it works great for my toys. I personally don't see why you would spend the money on a specialized box when the plastic containers work just as well.

Yes...I'd get one with a lock if the price was reasonable.

No. I just put mine in rubbermaid containters
10/24/2012
I think if you really like the look of one, then it might be worth it, but I've never bought one. I am content with keeping my toys in my makeup train case since I like to be able to lock them up
10/24/2012
It really depends on price and design
10/24/2012
They don't really seem big enough in most cases. I really wish they made bigger ones. For travel though I think they're pretty cool as long as they are reasonably priced.
10/24/2012
They're expensive and none are big enough....I have a bigass locking toolbox from Home Depot.
10/24/2012
I use a latching rubbermade box that fits right under the bed and it was much cheaper than any special box. I do have to admit that I love how some of the special boxes look though!
10/24/2012
They can be, but it depends on why you want the specialized one. For price, there are many other cheaper options on the market. For looks, it is hard to recreate with other products.
10/24/2012
It depends on the price and how much fits in it.
10/24/2012
It depends for me on whether it is actually well designed to hold toys. Toys come ins all shapes and sizes, but there isn't that much variation in most toys. I think a box that is well designed to hold toys is worth it.
10/24/2012
Yes and No. it all depends.
10/24/2012
I don't think so, my $30 cupboard and $2 lock from Lowe's work great.
10/24/2012
Not really. They tend to be so expensive and don't offer enough room. I spent 20 bucks or so for a drawer tower at Wal-Mart and it works perfectly... plus I ain't luggin my toys around anywhere so I don't need travel bags.
10/24/2012
Yes, I need something discreet that locks, I don't have the extra money right now and the Divine Playchest is nice to have. I'm glad they brought them back and that EF let us use points!
10/24/2012
Not a bit.
10/24/2012
I find them to be far too small, unless you only own two or three medium sized toys
10/24/2012
i put depends on price, but really it depends on function for me. ie. space, lining, quality of lock, obviousness ect
10/24/2012
It depends, but I tend to like a nice box.
10/24/2012
It depends on how much stuff you got. But I one of 3 of the cute ones that I liked and they came in handy for me.
10/25/2012
depends
10/25/2012
Depends, but mostly no.
12/29/2012
It depends on the price, but probably not. They just don't have enough space in them- and I like to keep all my toys in the same place!
03/27/2013
Not many, the "sex toy boxes" are more about looks and less about being big enough to hold a lot of things, and half of the ones here are just really deep so you have to dig to get the toy you want. There are much cheaper alternatives with more storage space.
