Here is a master list taken from EF. It is a pain to find all this info, on the fly, so I compiled it for all my EF loves.
Materials that can be used with all lubes;
Agate
Aluminum
Aventurine
Ceramic *
Chrome Alloy
Crystalessence
E-Glass or Cyberglass
Metal
Plastic
Pyrex glass and Tempered Glass
Sandstone *
Silicone *
Semi-Precious stone
Stainless Steel
Sterling Silver
Stone *
*= Site does not say compatible with Oil based, but I see no reason why you can not use it. As an example, Silicone is used for bake ware where we use oil, same with ceramic and stone. Now, this only pertains to material safety, as in it will not damage the toy.
Materials compatible with Silicone/Water based lubes
Acrylic aka Lucite
AquaGel aka Jelly and Jel-Lee
Better than Real
Elsatomed
Elastomer
Food Grade PVC
Intramed
Lacquer Cote
Latex
Non-Porous TPR
Polyurethane (PU) and PU coated Plastic
PVC
Rubber and Rubber cote aka Velvet Cote
Sil-A-Gel
TPE and TPR
Velvet Cote
Vinyl and Vinyl Rubber
WTP less

I'd add it to this thread but then again it might be interesting enough to warrant it's own thread.

I'm here. Are we going to see something burn up? Cool
04/13/2011
I just noticed sandstone on the list... most of the sandstone I've interacted is pretty grainy---I'm all about texture, but I don't think an uncoated sandstone dildo sounds very fun at all. Practically a vaginal scouring pad.

Thanks Tim this was a lot of fun and very educational as well! As long as you don't burn a glass toy (unless you are hand blowing one and that would make you WAY more cool than you were before!) I am all about seeing a toy flaming out. Just the glass and the stainless steel, seems sort of sacriledge to burn....

Time for a shower then derby practice
LOVE YOU ALL! (I may have had a beer with dinner and feeling a little lovey)
Tim, thanks so much for the workshop. This has been REVOLUTIONARY! (again, beer) But seriously, it's been great!

Thanks so much for the workshop, Tim. Uber-educational and a blast to boot. Maybe we'll be seeing a literal blast soon?

Actually sandstone can be polished to a fairly satiny sheen but I'm betting that the toys are coated in polyurethane or something like that. If not it would be horribly porous and suckup lube like a fiend!

I would love to take up glass making, I do have torch so I only need to find the glass stock and find some online classes.
The only thing I would like to do with stainless is to see if I can color it. I know it can be done with steel and it would be super cool to have a blue or gold Eleven. Stainless melts at like 2000 deg or so, it would be beyond me means to melt one, thankfully.
