Or you can continue to drink your Air Beer here... because it counts in my book!

Awesome! I expect some beer from you then. We'll do a trade, I made wine from bananas. Not quite the same, but it'll knock you on your ass!

Sure you can - just not through USPS.

You'll see soon enough why it is would be helpful. You can, of course, still learn a lot even if you don't have one (or more).

I just poured a Bell's Java Stout into my Duvel tulip, and I'll be reviewing it on BeerAdvocate while periodically checking up on this thread.
Cheers!

The first time we went to bottle it, it was amazing. Crisp, delicious, tastes like you'd think a wine made from bananas would. Turns out it hadn't stopped fermenting yet and I didn't add enough of the stuff that was supposed to stop fermenting. So none of my friends like it, and I've still got like, 20 bottles or so of I think, lol.

Sounds good. I'm much less familiar with eastern beers than I am with those from outside the Pacific Northwest. I make a point to support the local and regional breweries as much as possible, so unless someone buys it for me, I almost never buy something from outside the region.

Man, that's a tough choice. I might actually be inclined to choose the Bud Light if those were my two options. I'd choose Air beer over both, though.

I'm bad, I collect wine. I was in New Hampshire over the weekend and found some jalapeño wine, tomato wine, and onion wine, along with apple wine. I was so sad that I wasn't planning on checking any luggage on the return flight or I would have bought them all!

Oh lord, the last time I tried to drink a whole bottle of that in one night, I almost threw up a few times on the way home, lol. Although now that it's aged more, I'm planning on trying to knock out a whole bottle on my own sometime this summer

OK, it's 4:00 (in my neck of the woods, anyway). I'll wait a few more minutes to see whether any stragglers make their way here.

Drinking local is always a good decision. The majority of my beer dollars go directly to my local brewery, where I buy cases directly from the guys who make it. I just make it a point to buy other places' local beers whenever I visit, so I've got a decent little cellar set up at this point.
