My close friend used to work there, and it was in a really bad neighborhood. Both the manager and assistant manager would refuse to answer their phones when the alarm went off at like 1 or 2am, and she would have to get on the bus/subway and go down to the store to fix it up. She got mugged so many times doing it that she started to sleep on the floor there. They never even apologized.

that makes me sad, i worked for Hollywood video and i think of it as one of the best jobs i ever had...sadly they went of of business though.

then again, i was number one is sales. i even had a whole wall full of phone in complements.
