That story Karen mentioned (Walking the Sub) was one we really liked. It was sexy but funny too.

On the topic of the Kindle, there is a website called Pixel of Ink that posts several free and almost free books from amazon daily. Check them out. I've already gotten over 100 books that I didn't pay for. I love them!

The only reason I care about covers is because of my kids.

I know what you mean. I love books and swore I'd never do ebooks. But I'm actually kind of giving in, finally. I still love and buy paper books, but erotica on ebook makes reading in public SO easy!

you can get fabric book covers, I know some romance readers on paperbackswap use them to be discreet

It sure is: link

We've used it ever since we got our Kindle and converted about 200 non-Kindle books with it so far.

You can always make those brown-paper covers like we used to do for our high school text books, right? I covered up my second one since I'm staying with my family this month.

I've meant to look into those, but I never did. If I do any serious reading outside this summer I'll have to try and get me a few of those.

That's awesome!

I bought like, 5 books that were decent money for my e-reader, it wouldn't let me load them onto the device, and now they could just sit there and do nothing. I mean, I could read them on the computer, but that sort of defeats the purpose of having a portable reader, lol.

I will have to get me that! And then a Kindle!

I know we've been on the D/s topic for a while now, but did this book bring anything new to the table?

I did that to bring a book to work once, but I just used rebular paper that was thick enough to disguise the cover

Thanks for the tip! I read ebooks in whatever format I can get (I use Calibre as well) on my Toughbook, but I would love a tablet of some kind. I was hoping hubby would get a Notion Ink Adam when they came out (he's a tech reviewer) but no luck so far. I'm entering a photo contest next month and first prize is a 2ndGen iPad, so maybe I'll get lucky LOL.

It would totally just be sleeve, you make it a bit long and slip the ends over the covers until they fit snugly. Like the plastic covers they make for books at the library.

I feel like this was a completely different take on D/s than the last book. Less romantic and more about the diffetent ways to dominate

I kind of like that. Sometimes romance can ruin a good kinky scene. Know what I mean?

I don't know about "new to the table" but I liked more of the stories this time around. I thought these female characters had a lot more personality than the ones in the previous book, and I learned new terminology: topping from the bottom.

yeah, you can custom make them for your books easily, even if you dont sew (like me). I use iron on fusable webbing and stitch witchery

Oh yeah, that would defeat the purpose! lol. Calibre concerts from Kindle format to other formats too, so you might be able to use it to snag Kindle books for the reader you have now.

I hadn't gotten to read the earlier books, but this one really opened me up to a lot of new things. As I said in my review, I really liked how many of the stories spent time in the thoughts of the women (while not neglecting the hot physical stuff, of course!). Some really helped me feel more comfortable with my own submissive side.

I wish I had gotten Please, Ma'am now, too, though, if it gave some of the same physchological insights.
