You like Korean food also? Have you been to a restaurant called Korean Palace? It's on Stevens Creek Blvd., they're out of this world when it comes to Korean food.

Oh, yay! Eden has one of these threads. Of course they do, because they are awesome!
Dinner tonight is homemade pizza (3/4 white whole wheat, 1/4 white bread flour) with supposedly "fresh" mozzarella (it's very soft) and grated asiago. Also making garlic breadsticks from scratch. It's an easy meal to make and is just so much better than take out or frozen foods. The whole family loves it. If I had some veggies I'd throw them on, but our gardening is over until the fall when the weather cools. I miss our greens.
Fun fact, the other night I had a frozen pizza for the first time in years and thought it tasted like cardboard.

I made spaghetti-- I cooked up a pound of hamburger and added in some sausage crumbles I had cooked previously, then threw in some homemade marinara I had in the freezer. I finally perfected my marinara (how I like it, anyway). In addition to the onion, garlic, and herbs, I put in some freshly ground fennel seeds and a little fish sauce.
I also made Sizzler Toast. I mix softened butter with freshly grated parmesan cheese (2:1, butter to cheese, by weight). In this instance, I used 2 oz of butter to 1 oz of cheese. I sprinkled in just a little garlic powder. Then I spread it on "Texas Toast" bread and cook it on a griddle until it's golden brown, slice the pieces in half diagonally and serve.
Whilst the bread was cooking and my noodles were boiling, I made a quick salad of chopped romaine, cucumber, and tomato.

We totally cheated today. Hubs was busy and I had been sick most of the day, so we just picked up some fried chicken from the store. Shut up, don't judge me! Back to healthy stuff tomorrow.

We had sausage tonight with what was *supposed* to be roasted red potatoes with oregano, thyme, and rosemary from our garden. I cut the herbs from the garden, but when I went to take the potatoes out, the were all rotten. So I made stuffed cucumber and said.
