Baking is the best option!

Now just bake for 35-40 minutes!

And you've got cinnamon rolls!

We actually put it on the counter next to the stove. It would start to bake if we put it on top.

Do you guys have ideas of what you'd like to see for December's meeting? A little heads up, I think the meeting will be held on Tuesday the 11th to avoid scheduling conflicts for other Eden stuff.

Along with that---what kinds of ingredients do you keep in your kitchen? Could you make this recipe without leaving the house?

I think I could. We always have yeast, cake flour, white wheat flour, and bread flour in the house. That plus sugar and a big cabinet full of spices.

I made stollen with dried fruit soaked in rum last year. It was glorious.

How about gingerbread?

Well, that's a really good idea. I don't want to spoil the fun but it ties into something we're got up our sleeve.

It's a dense sweet bread made with dried fruit, traditionally a Christmas food. I believe it comes from Germany.

So gingerbread sounds tasty and important...

and I actually love my gingerbread with lemon zest frosting, so maybe doing gingerbread, and some kind of lemon-twist-garnished cocktail to match. December is always citrus-ey to me.
