The shipping would be a bitch even if it was only a few of us. I would be willing to give my address but only to certain people.

It basically just has to be 2 ½ X 3 ½ inches. And you can go crazy design wise.

there are entire websites devoted to this. ATCsforall.com is one, also yahoogroups ... more
Ah for the cards yes. I was talking about the boxes as a whole. Kinda got side tracked there, sorry.

And then, miss, you could always post a How-To video about how to make your own, etc.

you'd only show it to me, the host.

and the shipping works out to about .83 cents for a self addressed stamped envelope for 4 cards plus a little note. and .83 cents for the one you're sending out. so all in all under $3 shipping.

Okay! Looks like we will begin putting together ideas for the ATC business!

Our next topic for discussion is hand-made gifts for the holiday season! Has anyone already started on any? Do you have any ideas for crafty gifts? Any easy projects that you could share to give others ideas?

That sounds do-able. I was thinking if we were including other crafts, that could get expensive.

also, if you have some artsy friends, you can start swaps with eachother. send a card, get a card back, and keep swapping til infinity. it's a really great way to correspond too. very intimate. and you get great pieces of art for your walls or fridge.

this is fun to do with nieces/nephews/grandki ds who live far away too.

you'd just send a self-addressed stamped envelope with a stamp equal to the amount of the postage used to send your cards out in.

I haven't really started on anything, I'm not much for the holiday season. I'm thinking about making denim roses for one friend.

How do you do that? I've made duct tape roses before, so I'm guessing it's pretty similar?
