Ok, those of you who have been coming to these meetings for a while will recognize a lot of repeats, but I wanted to make sure that people who hadn't been here would see the whole list, so I'll start with ideas we've already implemented.Implemented ideas:-The big brother/big sister program was a suggestion made to try and help new people figure out the site easier. There hasn't been much direct work on the exact idea, but there has been a lot of work put into developing programs for all types of assistance. -The Community Blog Directory. This was brought up early on and was put together by a contributor. It was published and I keep it updated when new blogs are added to it. -Merch in general. We discussed different things that could be Eden branded. So far (August 2011) we have a few Eden branded toys (Kissa and Passion dual bullets), a toy pouch, wipes, and the first T-shirt from the design contest. Later on we added the tote bag, a cock ring, and a towel to the mix.-Having a CPM newsletter, something that would remind people when the meetings are and give them updates on what happened in the last meeting. As of right now the CPM is mentioned in the weekly email that lists upcoming events and meeting summaries can be read on our blog. -A public calendar to help community members keep track of events. For a few months this was a thread that Gary or I started that listed all of the upcoming events for that month. Eventually it became the calendar at the top of the forum and on the community news page. -Removing points on voting polls. While we haven't necessarily done this specifically, we have reworked the points program to adjust the payout for certain activities and help reduce point farming. There's no official release date as of yet, but it is currently in programming. -Expanding the community news page to truly reflect all the things currently being offered. At this point, the community news page contains a little bit of everything. There's always room for improvement though, so ideas for other things to add/change are welcome.-Getting an automatic notification of when your student has been given an assignment. While there's still no automatic notification, you can ask Justin to notify you if he does create an assignment. He's normally really good about letting you know if it's been done or not to begin with, and once you know that the assignment has been created you can ask your student whether or not they've accepted it from there. -Removing “committee” from the name of this meeting. As you can see, it went from the Community Events Committee to the Community Planning Meeting after a poll was taken on the forums. -Signatures for club managers. Since there's already a pretty box and title associated with each club manager, a signature for each post seemed a little over the top. An answer to wanting to add a signature without always having said signature was to prepare a pre-formatted post and add it to the end of relevant posts. -Sticky threads. These were released on the forums at the same time as a few other developments. With that round of updates we got sticky threads for upcoming events, announcements from staff, and featured threads; along with individual posters and total post counts on threads; and banners at the top of the forum!-Limiting the time that a poll can be voted on. We now have the ability to set time limits on polls that we create. -Changing the time of the Reviewers Spotlight so that it was right after the Community Planning Meeting instead of right before. -A stickied guide to clubs. Due to people not really knowing what requirements for clubs were and thinking they needed to be accepted, I created a guide to clubs, workshops, and parties and stickied it on the forums. -A stickied tutorial post. There have been a lot of helpful tutorials over the years, but they seem to be mostly gone now. I've been going through and creating new ones, and putting all the active ones I could find in master list of tutorials. -Adding summaries to each meeting link. This was another one that probably should have been done a long time ago, and while it isn't exactly what we had initially intended, I was able to put together a list of summaries and my notes on the meetings from 2010 and 2011.

dang, thats alot..
so. my opinions
big brother/sister program sounds like a marvelous idea. i'd volunteer to be a big sister if the program is ever implemented. it could be something like the mentor program... folks sign up to have a big bro/sis and they could be pals until the end of time or eden, whichever comes first.
Eden merch i was really disappionted that the cock ring was disposable. thats so wasteful! i'd like to see more eden products, but something a little more sustainable. also, the wipes are amazing, but the cover plastered with the words 'sex shop' make them not as friendly to keep out on the back of the toilet (where i like to use them alot) in case company comes.
newsletter personally i'm not sure we need a CPM newsletter. but it could be useful.
public calendar. the forum page is helping out alot on that anymore. the banner at the top with rotating events is awesome, as well as the upcoming events slots and new sticky threads. those are super helpful. i'm not sure we need a calendar either, but it could be helpful.
removing points on voting in polls ... fine by me! makes for a more honest response.
the stickied threads and tutorial posts are fucking awesome.
