WHAT?!

true story,
my first semester in this apartment, I set off the fire alarm three times.

Once, I was making a grilled cheese sandwich
The second time, I was making fried rice.
Ha, I learned to cook from a friend I've known since elementary school. We moved to the city together and shared warehouse spaces etc. But the first summer down, we would cook food in the bottom of a roaster, that was missing a leg that we propped up on some books. That was always hilarious.

This has been fun, but I've got to run and do some stuff for class now Thanks for the great discussion and I'm glad I was able to make this!

Yeah, it could run in conjunction with the cooking club, and then people would KNOW that the recipe isn't awful like some things online can be.

At my school they make this thing called Buffalo Mash. Its creamy mashed potatoes with a couple chicken strips, cheese and hot sauce. Its amazing! (Somewhat similar to that KFC bowl)

There used to be a brewpub I frequented that served an inch-thick slice of fried bologna on sourdough, with a tray featuring 30 different mustards. It was awesome. They also made a great brat. Unfortunately, their beer wasn't all that special, and they went out of business.

THAT is something I can TOTALLY do.

I'd be interested in that, no matter who was running in it!

Also, there would be some dishes with different flavors of the country (s) since people here are from all over! I bet there are a lot of tex mex styles of making food and so forth.

i like to fry up onions, tomatoes, peppers, and whatever lunch meat is around with some garlic... chop it up real fine... and put that on the inside of a grilled cheese. It's so good, but it can be time consuming by itself. It's a great way to make use of some scraps and leftover ends while preparing other foods.

I'd also be interested in having it a two part thing, the first part being the basics (what all the implements are, etc) and how to make the basic drinks (martini, cosmopolitan, etc.) and maybe a second one on my new favorite hobby: infusing liquors.

I'd share my mom's brownies. Although anybody who's got the Pillsbury cookbook would be making the same ones. I'll be damned if they aren't amazing tho

With Easter coming up I could see if anyone wanted to learn how to make St. Mary's County Stuffed Ham. It takes several hours to make it though so not sure if peeps would want too.

We infuse liquor with fruits from out orchard. They are great. BTW, you ever seen this thing? link It's technically not supposed to be used for distilling liquor, but.....
