If its high quality I'll pay over a hundred.
What's the most you'd spend on a flogger?

I think I'm in the more expensive range too. Although I haven't tried it yet, im very interested in the thuddy feeling which looks more expensive.

As others have said, you get what you pay for. I would rather have a very high quality flogger if I can afford it. In the long run you'll end up paying more over time in broken cheap floggers than if you had gone for the better one to begin with, especially if you play rough.

it's new to us, so we're starting in the $50 range, but i have seen beautiful stuff which is WAY more expensive

It is no different from a "toy that brings pleasure," as you stated. In fact, I would almost argue that floggers bring far more pleasure than a vibrator or dildo could ever bring to the body. Floggers can bring a person to an endorphin high through pain, which is something that a vibrator or dildo cannot generally do (unless the toy stretches or is used for impact, which in that case would not be a regular use for a toy to begin with).

So far, 20-50 but I would spend more for a high quality one in the future.

I agree. It's not good to judge what other people think feels good. If someone didn't enjoy being flogged, they wouldn't ask for it and buy things for it obviously.

I might get a very high quality custom made one someday, but for now, I'll stick to the $20-50 range.

$20 to $50
03/29/2013
I'd pay over $100 for a nice quality one.

The most I HAVE spent was in $100-150 range, but I'd be willing to pay over $200 in the future if the product is excellent and I have the money.

Allow me to present a couple possible explanations (different people enjoy S&M for different reasons, but these are often part of it). First, experiencing pain releases endorphins. Endorphins feel good. A person that really likes that endorphin rush (or, I suppose in some cases, a person that's wired to release more endorphins than average) will thoroughly enjoy a consensual flogging even though it'll also hurt (some people also like the feeling of pain itself, but that's not actually true across the board). The person doing the flogging is doing something that they know makes their partner happy.

Our answer was not listed. That would be zero. We just don't get this idea of how flogging (something akin to torture in our book) has any relationship, what so ever, to sex, which, in our book, is enjoyment and pleasure between two equal partners. Punishment, degradation, pain is something we think of as cruel and done to enemies, not loved ones. I have still never, ever heard a good explanation from any of the many folks here, who are into Bondage, pain...etc, as to how this fits into love and care, and pleasure. We don't get it. Period.

Second, most scenes induce a feeling of heightened vulnerability on the part of the bottom. While this might seem like a bad thing, it can actually be seen as an extension of what happens during vanilla sex. Allowing someone to see and touch you naked requires you to open up to them and trust them immensely and the same is true for flogging.
There are plenty of other reasons why people enjoy BDSM. Some bottoms just enjoy the feeling of release and freedom they get from being ordered around (it sounds counterintuitive, but not having to worry if you're doing the right thing in the bedroom--because you're being sternly ordered around by your partner--can actually be incredibly freeing, especially for some individuals that have problems with anxiety and indecision). Others use BDSM as a way to work through their fears or to deal with past traumas. But no matter what, it's almost always a powerful thing based on trust and consent. It may not be for everyone, but I hope this helped explain why all of us aren't crazy

Seems like under $50 is about right. I will have to look into it.
04/06/2013
Right now, anything more than $50 is beyond a dream. However, I would love to eventually put together a nice, diverse set, regardless of cost. That's the dream.

Under $75.
05/13/2013
Maybe around $20.

I currently have a few floggers that were between $50-100.

I can't imagine paying over 100$ for a flogger. However, if it had enough features and got the job done -very- well. I'd probably pay that.

Up to around 25 would be my limit unless it was with points and it looked amazing and then maybe...
05/25/2013
Not more than 50, unless it's some kind of really fancy, special flogger that's guaranteed to last a very long time.

I have one by them also and it was worth every penny pretty sure it was 280, but Id pay upwards of 500 for good custom pieces
