I think I'm developing a rather expensive taste in floggers. I'm curious to see how much other people would spend on one. I've found some gorgeous high quality ones way out of my current price range that I plan to be able to get some day.
What's the most you'd spend on a flogger?

I have the NobEssence one which is over $200. I don't mind paying if it's gonna produce a good thuddy hit.
11/06/2012
prob no more than 20 bucks for me unless it's really nice
11/06/2012
depends on the quality... for something like custom made i'm definitely pay over $100
11/06/2012
$20 to $50 sounds reasonable to me.

Wanting a quality leather mop style flogger will definitely be what causes me to spend over $200 some day. It'd be soo amazingly thuddy.

I'd say $50 is my limit. I have 2 that were about that range, and I probably won't get any more. My Dom has several though and I know some of his were over $100.
I'm not into flogging enough to spend a lot of money on it.

Definitely wouldn't have an issue paying more for something custom made if I was in the market for new floggers.

Up to 50 bucks.

I like quality!

We spent $150 on my big thuddy one that I got in NY. It'll last a lifetime though.

I'd Say 20-50, A Good Flogger Is One That Will Last At Least A While, If You Go Cheaper Normally They're Lower Quality Materials And They May Fall Apart. (It's Happened To Me xD)

I have my eye on an aluminum handled beauty that is 100.00 and it's worth every single penny.

depends - I'd want quality

I'd be willing to spend over $200 (and have already entered the $50 range), but that doesn't necessarily mean that I have the ability to spend that amount at this juncture. I think that a high-end flogger could be a great gift to myself at some point down the line once I've become more experienced and more of a connoisseur.

Up to $50

A couple hundred. Not right now of course, but when I'm more well-off and comfortable, certainly.

$40, but I'm rubbish with a flogger. No doubt there are some well-made pieces that are worth more.

I voted $50-$100 only because I don't count the custom made heirloom flogger I purchased for our anniversary. That one has everything customized on it and there is not a single element I did not have a say on, from the design of the handle to the width of the falls, even the braid of the wrist loop. That one was $350, but it is a one time special occasion flogger.

Besides that one, I have never paid over $100 for a flogger

Our answer was not listed. That would be zero. We just don't get this idea of how flogging (something akin to torture in our book) has any relationship, what so ever, to sex, which, in our book, is enjoyment and pleasure between two equal partners. Punishment, degradation, pain is something we think of as cruel and done to enemies, not loved ones. I have still never, ever heard a good explanation from any of the many folks here, who are into Bondage, pain...etc, as to how this fits into love and care, and pleasure. We don't get it. Period.

Wow...we could easily spend hundreds on toys that bring pleasure, but instruments of pain? This is so foreign a concept we stand stunned.
