He hasn't yet... But I'm not giving up! I'm surprised you guys care about such problems ^^;; I appreciate your friendships and support and I am definitely trying again tonight actually! It takes me time to build up courage to hint at things I want, but I'm getting better

Thank you ^_^

You should just ask or share your wishlist with him. It's not only for you, it's for both of you to enjoy. I wouldn't sweat it if I were you.

Great news, everyone!
That is NOT the Divinity Collar, just to be clear. It is however a collar I designed that was INSPIRED by the Divinity set. I finally got up the nerve about a month ago to tell Wolfie straight out, that this really is something I want. I decided against the Divinity for a few reasons: the fur would itch my sensitive skin, it doesn't lock, and there's no loop on its front D-ring. I went to a sister site of Spartacus, Collar Factory, and designed this lovely collar exactly to my specifications. And he bought it for my birthday!
You guys have been so sweet and helpful to me. I don't know if I would have had the courage without your support to express my needs and wants. I had already planned to do this, but for Wolfie's birthday (provided I can get the funds around...) I will be getting him a new collar as well.
Again, thank you all so much for your kind words and support

It looks gorgeous! I'm glad you got up the nerve to ask and that your sweet man got it for you.
I love Collar Factory. And unlike the divinity collar, it clasps and locks instead of snaps! Winning all around!
I'm hoping for something from Collar Factory myself, once my partner and I are in more a desirable financial situation.

Thank you ^_^ Yes their site is amazing. Just so you know, they do have two contests every month, and the prize for each is $50 off your purchase, which could leave you with as little as $15 out of pocket. If you don't have a collar from there, you can only enter one of them, but it's a great way to get to know the community there as well ^_^

"Just give it some time. If he knows you well enough he'll run across it and think, "Pixie would love this!" "
most guys need to be told specifically what their partners want. I know we want them to be intuitive like that.. but in reality it doesn't happen often.

I vote for E-mail him! It wouldn't hurt.

I would print out pictures and place them randomly around your place. Like that bathroom mirror. Then on top of it leave the computer window open, and email him your wish list. AND order a pizza, and when it is delivered tape a picture on the inside of the pizza box... if he doesnt get the hint by then well... I dunno what to tell you. maybe scream it out during hot sex?

Just hint heavily. And don't be afraid to ask for things. This collar is not even very expensive. And it's so pretty <3

Pixie loves the Divinity Collar , and the matching Wrist and Ankle restraints , and as a plus, is all about the look of innocence, which they impart. But I'm having trouble figuring out how to hint to my boyfriend, who doesn't take hints well and most of the time prefers to be the more submissive one in our relationship (we are both switches, each having collared the other), that I like and want this collar and hopefully the matching set. I actually asked for my first collar, in person and right at the store, with it in my hand... And felt horrible. Asking for things is something I always have a very hard time doing, and often feel sorry or wrong for having done so later on. (It's a long story you probably don't want to read, but long story short, up until about a year ago my personal mantra was, "Good girls don't want," and I'm still learning it's okay.) I want this but don't want to ask, and feel like that again. Can anyone help...?
As an aside, he doesn't have an account here, and doesn't spend a lot of time here as a result. And when he does, it's more for new toys for us to play with. Collars he feels are better found at leather specialty places elsewhere, like Leather Etc. So he'd never just run across it by chance in a million years, probably.
So if anyone has any advice, please do more than vote, I'd love to chat and get some ideas on what to do. I'm kind of a nervous wreck over this. Thanks a lot in advance, everyone! ~Pixie less

Yes, did you ever get what you wanted????

Id like to know if he ended up getting the "hint" too. I'm kind of the same way as far as asking for things from certain others goes too. yikes.
