Not often, but yes, I have worked it into some of the bondage I've done.
It was actually pretty fun, mildly painful...but it added that little something extra that made even the more simple bits of bondage feel a fair bit more restrictive. =3
I tend to like my bondage as strict as I can safely get it (and still get out again, mind you...getting stuck isn't exactly fun.), so the added restriction is absolutely divine.
My only worry is that incorporating it in too often could negatively affect my hair in the long run, which is why it's a bit of a rare thing for me.

I can't see this being something either my wife or myself would be into
