I try not to watch free porn online. A lot of sites are unreliable, and on top of that, it's really unfair to the performers and companies that put time and money into making the movies. Amateur uploads one thing, but the major adult movies that are being ripped and posted to sites ARE stealing.

I'm not saying I've never watched one or that I've never watched a bootleg mainstream movie, but the adult industry is a little different. They have relied on DVD sales as their primary income for a LONG time, whereas the mainstream movie industry has theaters and all kinds of shit that they can market their movie with (like toys, games, etc.) to make money off of it. The porn producers can't exactly run out and put t-shirts with the next box-cover for "Anal Sluts 14" on the racks at Walmart. They have to evolve in different ways and unfortunately are still somewhat reliant on DVD sales and people actually purchasing scenes from their websites to keep productions going.

That being said, I try to buy porn as often as I have the money to do so, so that I can help support my favorite companies. I browse their websites and AdultDVDTalk forums to find out about upcoming releases so that I can plan ahead and set aside a little cash here and there for a movie before it even comes out. It ain't cheap, but that's the price of pleasure, baby! less

Mostly free, but since I also get porn from graphic novels I like to support the artists when I can. Especially if it's something I already read and liked a lot. But generally I go with free. I was assuming that this question included smut in other forms as well. less
