When I purchased my first toy, I went for the dual action, multi-speed rabbit with the rotating beads. I quickly found it was not the toy for me and wish I had started out with something like the Aquarius Bumpy to get a better idea about how I liked my toy pleasure before plopping down for something that wasn't suitable. What I loved about the Aquarius Bumpy was its versatility. Without the sleeve, a simple, sleek vibrator provides excellent direct clitoral stimulation. I enjoy nipple stimulation and find the tip of a vibrator to do the trick.Add to this the changeable sleeve and it is like two toys in one. I thought with the sleek design, the nubs might not be discernible once inserted; they are subtle, and women that are more sensitive might get more of a sensation from them. The soft jelly conducts and distributes the vibrations, allowing for even the extension for clitoral stimulation to vibrate even without its own mechanism. The Bumpy does not provide the same hands-off clitoral stimulation as the dual action vibrators, but I like to extend my pleasure so the subtly of this one was a nice change. The tip of the sleeve is curved, firm, and provides excellent pressure on the g-spot. I found this particular curve and shape to be a real winner. Everyone is shaped a bit differently, and this one knocked on all the right spots. The intensity of the vibrations is easily adjusted by twisting the bottom. Mine was a little stiff at first so I twisted it a few times to get it loosened up.I tried in it the shower the first time and loved how the soft jelly quickly warmed in the hot water. Another reason it is a great first toy; waterproof! Shower play is some of the best, but use caution with the slippery surfaces. One of the benefits of a toy like this is the ability to swap out the sleeves. I have not been successful in finding additional sleeves sold separately and really think the team over at Aquarius are missing out on a great add-on sales opportunity. The only downfall is what I call the "out of the box experience." This would include: 1) how informative were the instructions and 2) how easy was it to figure out how to use. In this case, there was no indication on the packaging or insert as to what size battery was required. The instructions for installing the batteries included pictures of three vibrators, none of which were remotely similar to the Bumpy. I figured out quickly that once the base was unscrewed, the only size battery that would fit was AAA, two of them. After that, the rest came naturally!
