Researchers may not need to develop a male contraceptive that lowers sperm count, because recent reports claim that male virility is on the decline.
Described as an issue “as important as global warming,” the findings indicate that one out of every five men between the ages of 18 and 25 have abnormal sperm counts, leading many heterosexual couples to produce offspring by attempting In-Vitro Fertilization, or IVF.
But IVF isn’t without its hazards. Recently, a couple trying to produce their own child were accidentally implanted with another woman’s embryo.
If couples are interested in avoiding the costly and sometimes risky procedures involved in IVF, there’s hope; studies have linked explicit porn to increased male sperm count. Apparently, the raunchier the better, as men who viewed porn “more explicit than any they had seen before” produced more potent semen.
That leaves out softcore porn as prescription for enhancing male fertility, but that doesn’t mean nobody is watching. Skinimax is still going strong, with the most recent sex-themed series “The Zane chronicles” attracting an audience of 1.4 million viewers per episode. As erotic author Zane says, "I don't think that sexuality should be separated from the rest of life.” We couldn’t agree more.
