Finally, something that proves that computers are useful and should not be considered just a fad: a vibrator that charges in a USB port.
The Duet, according to Charlie Sorrel at Wired, is only the size of your thumb but you can charge it via USB and strangely enough—it can come (ahem) with up to 16GB of storage.
The inventor doesn’t have funding, though once many women see this slick, discreet, mod-looking little thing, many will undoubtedly just shove some cash in an envelope and hurl it at CKIE, “a Kickstarter-like site.” The Duet is not yet on sale though pending prices are on the Wired website. It’s silicone and metal, is waterproof, has a variety of speeds and patterns and is almost silent. Sorrel very funnily describes a fully charged Duet as “able to give a terrifying four hours of pleasure.” Don’t worry, Charlie—most girls won’t need all that at once.
On one hand you have to love one thing that is actually two things; on the other hand it’s kind of odd that it has storage capacity, though maybe the inventors just figured they could do it, so why not? Maybe one day we’ll be able to store up our orgasms and relive them on demand.
Someone get on that … I’ll be in the cryogenics tube ’til yer done.
