Last month, film director John Maringouin was minding his own business, trying to get through airport security, when he noticed 52-year-old Dr. Tammy Banovac waiting patiently to be screened ... in sexy black lingerie. Like many people unhappy with TSA's new invasive screening process, Banovac was protesting.
Maringouin switched on his camera to film the ordeal, and then posted it on YouTube, where Banovac became a hit.
That day, TSA claimed the detected traces of nitrate residue on Banovac's person, and refused to let her fly.
Tuesday, Banovac returned to Will Rogers Airport, fully clothed, hoping to return home, and was turned away again.
Banovac says, "The stated reason was there was... They were unable to clear an unusual contour of my buttocks area."
Banovac offered to strip, and show them she had nothing to hide, but was told that TSA workers aren't allowed to remove all clothing from a passenger. She was told, however, that in the morning, she'd be able to board her flight, so the wheelchair-bound woman spent the night in the airport.
