Because you can’t see stress, not under a microscope or even when it’s sitting on top of you crushing your spirit, it’s sometimes easy to overlook the way it undermines our health, including our sex lives. Molly M. Ginty of Woman’s Day has pulled together tips from a great group of experts in “Rediscover Sex After Ten Stressful Situations.”
Ginty includes a lot of things that are especially relevant to Americans at the moment such as home foreclosure, job loss, or (on the flip side) overwork; and her experts come through with excellent advice to remember for when these things happen or sometimes even if lesser crises arise. Dr. Carol Queen, for example, advises that if you’re in a new living situation with roommates or relatives, make sure you have a place—literally—for intimacy. Dr. Pepper Schwartz advises putting a definite break between your work day and your home time if your work load is getting out of hand.
Affairs, weight gain and even the death of a loved one are among the topics addressed in this thoughtful piece, a thoughtful reminder of, as Ginty writes, “the joy from which sexual energy flows.” Nice.

Jerry's work has appeared in hundreds of magazines and he has been a regular contributor to the pages of Playboy for more than 15 years. We'll introduce you to him more formally soon, but for now you'll be able to find his contributions, regularly, in Sex Feed.)

in our house if we are feeling stresses we just have a good night of loveing and it seems to make it all go a way for a little at least, but main thing if stressed have some good sex
Helpful article, for sure. It's difficult to be relaxed enough to be intimate when the rest of your life is stressful for various reasons; it helps to have a few loose pointers on how to deal with a variety of those situations.
