“Men only want one thing.” How many times have you heard that? For the sake of discussion, we will assume you know what that “one thing” is.
Of course, this is a generalization. We all know there are some men who are not just about having sex, and more of it. And today, we learn from scientists that 12 percent of Australian men between 16 and 24 years old say they want less sex.
“Although it's a minority, it's still interesting that it's more of them (than any other age group), which is not that sort of myth, boys not getting enough sex and dying to get it,” said Juliet Richters, Associate Professor in Sexual Health at the University of New South Wales.
Bad news, older guys: Half of men aged 55 to 64 wanted more sex, while only 27 percent of women in the same age group felt the same. Researchers surveyed some 4,300 heterosexual men and 4,400 women between the ages of 16 and 64.
