The sex on that visit must have been really, really good. Or maybe he just talked her into it. Whatever spurred the idea, Maria del Mar Arjona, 19, was caught attempting to smuggle her husband out of a Mexican prison inside her suitcase.

She’d brought the big bag to the big house for a conjugal visit with her husband, Juan Ramirez Tijerina who is serving 20 years on an illegal weapons charge from 2007 (and you thought you were a badass for getting away with the occasional hotel towel). The Independent says the 19-year-old looked nervous leaving the Chetumal prison as she struggled with her bulky bag, and a little look-see revealed Tijerina was inside wearing only socks and underwear.

This Associated Press video about the incident says that Arjona “was arrested and charges are pending.” (with priceless picture of what an investigator called “a large suitcase with a thin person curled up inside.”).



We hope you never find yourself with a loved one in the pokey requiring conjugal visits but if you do remember: Snuggle, don’t smuggle. Carry on.
