So you’re out there dating, trying to find Mr. or Ms. Right, or Right Now, or whoever. And we have heard, and even experienced, that many of these dates do not go exactly according to the fantasy that was playing in your head prior to the actual, real date. Maybe this has happened to you.

This is apparently why we need Cloud Girlfriend, a San Diego dating site that had its official launch today. “Fantasy dating. Get your head in the clouds.”

And, as they point out in this video, Cloud Girlfriend “is free. Unlike your last date.”



“What we are doing blurs the lines between reality and imagination,” co-founder David Fuhriman said in a statement. “We allow people to define their ideal self, find their perfect girlfriend or boyfriend and connect and interact as if that person existed.”

We’re not entirely sure the world needs a new dating site where people kind of make stuff up about themselves, but hey—at least on this one, you’ll know the other person is lying and can respond accordingly, right?
