Writing a best seller is easy, as every author knows. All you need is a great idea … and then a title … and then, pretty much, you’re done.
Okay, that’s lame writer humor. But sometimes that really is all there is to it. As proof, we offer the example of the new blockbuster tome by “Professor” Sheridan Simove, What Every Man Thinks About Apart From Sex.
The book has 200 blank pages. Students in the UK are snapping them up for use as notebooks.
“I never thought for one moment that my life’s work would be embraced by Britain’s students in their thousands,” said Simove, who is not a professor of anything but did graduate from Oxford. “It is very gratifying to see my book outselling many other academic works whose authors claim to have worked even harder than I to break new ground and further the extent of human knowledge.”
Okay, time to get back to thinking about sex …
