While everyone would like to believe the world will eventually be an accepting place to live, I doubt we'll ever get to that point. Sexuality has come a long way over the years, but not enough that I think full acceptance will ever happen. Teens and young adults are coming out that they're gay, rather than hiding it and feeling ashamed of themselves, but they still don't have the right to marry the person that they love in every state. Why? Because though we live in a "free" country, we're not all able to be sexually free unless we fit into a box.

I am a sexual woman, and it's taken me a long time to realize that there's nothing wrong with that. I grew up feeling like it was wrong that I enjoyed masturbation because I was female. It wasn't something that young, respectable women did; it was "sinful." After experiencing my first sexual encounter with another person, I realized how much more I wanted. I held back, made my goal to please the man I was with, and always had to be the one to wait my turn. I wasn't sexually satisfied because I never felt like I had a voice, and to this day it's still something I struggle with.

So where do I place with all of this? I'd like to think of myself as starting to become free. Eden Fantasys has helped me realize that just because I'm a woman doesn't mean that I can't have sexual needs and do what I can to take care of them. I've learned that society is truly starting to change and be more accepting, but I fear that so many things will still be left in the dark.

We all have the right to be who we are, feel what we feel, love who we love. We need to expose those parts of ourselves. When one person does it, it becomes a lot easier for the next person to do the same thing, and could eventually have a domino effect. It's a risk we all need to realize is worth taking. You never know whose cage you might be unlocking just by showing everyone who you are.

Not only that, but taking a step back and really rethinking how we view others. Judgment is one of the biggest things that blocks us all from coming together and being understanding of everyone's circumstances. I don't have to agree with choices that others make, but I can still respect that it's their choice to make them. By changing your views even slightly, you're opening up to a world of things you never expected to find. Freeing yourself and helping others become free is as simple as being open and understanding. Sure, you might get knocked down by some, but at least you'll have moments you're able to soar!
