Abortion itself is a tricky topic. There is already controversy on whether it is ethical, but under that debacle is the question of who gets a say in keeping the baby?
Honestly, it depends mainly on who the father is.
I don't mean WHO he is, I mean his motivations and demeanor.
If he's one of those men who humped and dumped, and came back because he wanted to keep the child but otherwise never cared about you, why should he have a choice in something that mainly affects you? He's already proven he's selfish and is only looking out for what he wants and not what YOU want. On the other hand, if this is just a one night stand, and he genuinely feels he needs to do the right thing and support you, yes he should absolutely get a say. This applies to any man who truly respects YOU and isn't thinking for himself only.
If he wants to keep it:
Does he consider if both parties can raise a child in terms of finances and responsibility? Is he willing to make the commitment to take care of the child, too? Basically, does he just want to have a child and leave it with you, or is he willing to take the time out of his life and take up the responsibility of caring for the child instead of being an absent father? Mainly, is he willing to support you the whole way through, including hormone induced irritation?
If he wants to get rid of it:
Why does he not want a child?
If the responses to these questions are reasonable, and show he's considering the child and you, then he should get a choice. Otherwise, it's your choice exclusively since it is your body.
However remember this important question, if you want to keep the child and he doesn't, will you be able to go through it alone if the father is unwilling to take care of it?

I agree. Luckily, my fiance and I are on the same page--neither of us are into the idea of children, and we both see where we are in life and where a child would/wouldn't fit into that.
