As adults we view Halloween differently than we did when we were kids. I view it two ways because I have three kids: one way is taking my children out, and the other is having adult fun without the kids around. When I take my kids out, yes, I dress up. I dress appropriately because my kids are still young enough to enjoy me “playing” dress-up with them. When I choose to do adult Halloween stuff I don’t have to worry about dressing appropriately because I’m with other adults. I believe that nobody should stop doing things that are fun just because we become adults.
As long as there are no kids I think that adults can have just as much Halloween fun as we did as kids. We can just dress sexier, drink, and party better than we did as kids. As an adult I can dress sexier and not worry about what other people are thinking about me at that moment. I can wear a corset or a mini skirt, show some skin, and feel really sexy; or I can put on a skin tight outfit with fishnets that show some of my butt and not worry. When I’m with the kids I wear child friendly clothes; regular length skirts, not so tight tops, and feel just as good because my kids are having a good time.
The people that say that adults shouldn't do things for Halloween have obviously not been to an adult Halloween party. They are missing all the fun in it! Halloween has changed over the years anyways. Halloween came from many cultures and means many different things. This time of year is celebrated because of the changing of the seasons.
Halloween should be enjoyed by everyone. A lot of people say that you start getting “old” and you should stop having fun. Why should we, as adults, stop doing what we enjoy? If someone truly enjoys celebrating Halloween I don’t think anybody should tell them to stop. As long as their attire is company appropriate let them have fun. Adult Halloween parties are great for us to let loose and dress however. People don’t judge others on Halloween they accept how they dress, and act, so a lot of times it’s the only time of year some people are accepted by others.
When a women dresses “slutty” in the everyday setting she gets a bad reputation, but when she dresses this way on Halloween nobody says anything about it. It lets people dress in a way they normally wouldn't and be somebody they aren't just this one day a year. A lot of people take this to heart, and why should somebody else tell them it’s not appropriate for them? If you truly love Halloween then don’t let anyone tell you that you’re too old; you’re never too old for fun. Halloween should be celebrated by everyone not just kids. As long as you are around children, if you are dressed up then you are dressed correctly!

I agree.
