We all want to feel sexy. It gives you confidence and you walk around all day feeling like you’re on top of the world when you feel sexy. But we don’t always feel sexy. There are lots of times where daily life gets in the way: work, family, kids, bills, traffic, you name it. When I don’t feel sexy I feel disconnected from that part of me and it starts a domino-type effect. I don’t feel sexy so I don’t feel as confident. I don’t feel as confident so I don’t speak up as much as I should in work or with family. When I don’t speak up certain things don’t work right, especially at work, and I get aggravated. The little daisy chain could continue on and on but what ultimately happens is that I feel trapped in myself or my situation and I get upset or snap at someone. But there is a way to change all of that. By feeling sexy I can help eliminate a lot of the problems I will face and you can do the same thing, both in and out of bed.
Wear Something Sexy- For me feeling sexy is equal parts looking good and feeling good. If I’m wearing slobby clothes most of the time I won’t feel as sexy as I might when I’m wearing a sharp suit. The same goes for women. When you’re wearing that great cocktail dress you feel sexy. Now we can’t wear the sexiest things in our closet everyday, it would cost a fortune!
But when you want to feel sexy there’s always a little way to mix things up so that you feel sexy, no matter how boring that staff meeting is. You might be wearing just a normal outfit at work, but you could be wearing the sexiest little bra and panty set underneath those normal clothes. Or you could be wearing a sexy boxer brief underneath that suit at the office. Little things can change your mood greatly. Instead of tights underneath that skirt, how about a garter belt and stockings? No one will be the wiser and you’ll walk around all day feeling different and hopefully sexier.
At home and in bed it is just as easy to change things up. We all have those comfortable outfits that we like to sleep in: that beat up t-shirt that you’ve had since high school (me), that pair of comfortable boxer shorts you stole from your boyfriend that you still lounge around in today (my wife). Changing things up a little bit can help you feel sexier, and get lucky! I’m not saying you need to wear a corset and stockings to bed every night, just a little change here or there. You could wear something totally impractical to sleep in like a corset and stockings, but do it on a random Tuesday when your partner isn’t expecting it and you’ll feel sexy and beautiful. Then after he’s ravaged you, you can wear the comfy pajamas again. Or just wear something a little sexier. A camisole that is still comfortable but sexy, perfect for helping you feel sexier in the bedroom without any extra effort.
Feel Confident In Yourself- This is something that also applies to feeling sexy both in and out of the bedroom. You’re great, I know you are. Your partner (if you have one) probably thinks so as well or else they wouldn’t be with you. If you’re single there is probably someone out there who sees you on the train and thinks you’re hot or something like that. We get so bogged down in our own daily challenges that we forget how great we really are. I know it sounds silly, but every now and then when you aren’t feeling sexy, remind yourself that you are great and people out there want you. In no time you’ll have a spring in your step and be ready to chat up that attractive person on the train that thinks you’re a looker.
Sexting- If you’re single I don’t recommend randomly texting people dirty, sexy things, but for people in a relationship this is definitely one way to feel sexier as you go about your day. It can work both ways. If you know your partner isn’t feeling like their sexy self at the moment, find a moment in the day to send them a dirty text. It could be something as innocent as “You’re so sexy, I can’t wait to see you tonight,” to something detailed and/or dirty like, “Tonight I’m going to fuck you so hard that you will have trouble walking tomorrow!” It will probably come out of nowhere for your partner and change their entire outlook on the day.
It can also work for you as well. Receiving a dirty text from your significant other can remind you of how sexy and attractive you really are. And knowing that your partner is thinking like that can only help spur your imagination on as well. Once the bedroom door is closed that night you will feel sexy for sure!
Those are just a few ways that you can change up small things in your daily routine to help you feel sexier, both in and out of the bedroom. These are little things, but they can make a big difference.
